The Kelty Coo's

Our Kelty History

I started working with Highland Cattle around 2012. I was lucky enough to land a job as a stockwoman on a local farm. I was given the opportunity to improve the breeding program and start showing the Highland Cattle. I have a keen interest in animal psychology and took what I have learned over the years working with horses into working with the cattle. I spent a lot of time bonding with the cows and over time they started to trust me. I started to brush and halter train many of the cows at the farm. We eventually started showing and had a good few successes out and about at agricultural shows. We also started taking animals to the pedigree sales and have ended up selling cattle all over Europe.

My love for Highland Coos has gone from strength to strength over the years and I have now built up my own small fold of cows and bought my own land for them to live on. I am excited to share my love and knowledge of the cattle with the visitors to my own farm. I look forward to meeting you and introducing my cows to you
